FormulaGap per region = requested hours − deployable hours, per region and week

You calculate the same per role. In permanent recruitment: open vacancies − placement-ready candidates, per role and region. Calculate with deployable supply, not available supply: only deployable supply can actually be deployed.

It tells you where to recruit.

Why it matters

A gap that returns week after week is structural. Then only recruitment in that region or role helps, or a conversation with the client about the demand.

Where it goes wrong

A gap per region hides differences per role, and the other way round. And if you calculate with available instead of deployable hours, the gap looks smaller than it is.

How Dashly calculates it

Dashly calculates the gap per week and four weeks ahead from scheduling and the ATS. In the capacity loop it is the step from requested hours to recruitment per region.
