FormulaDeployable hours = suitable hours with placement readiness in order

Suitable hours are the available hours of employees who meet the role requirements, per role, region and week. In permanent recruitment the counterpart is 'placement-ready candidates': suitable candidates with placement readiness in order, per vacancy.

Only deployable supply counts in the balance of demand and supply.

Why it matters

Available is not the same as deployable. Someone without a valid certificate or a signed contract can be available, but you may not deploy them. If you plan with available hours, you see a shortage too late.

Where it goes wrong

Skills and certificates are not in the scheduling system, or the status of checks sits in another system. Then there seems to be enough supply, until the day of the shift.

How Dashly calculates it

Dashly calculates deployable hours per week from scheduling and the skills register, with placement readiness from Compliance intelligence. Compliance intelligence is coming soon.
