The difference between suitable and deployable is called readiness loss.
Three steps
Available: people who want to work and can. Suitable: available and meets the role requirements. Deployable: suitable and placement-ready, so with, among other things, a valid certificate, a signed contract and a roster within the rules.
Why the distinction matters
If you plan with available supply, you only see a shortage on the day of the assignment. If you count only deployable supply in the balance, you see earlier where you need to recruit or get a certificate renewed.
How Dashly measures it
For flex in hours: suitable hours and deployable hours per role, region and week. For permanent recruitment in candidates: suitable and placement-ready candidates per vacancy.
