FormulaReturn on recruitment spend = margin from hours worked by placed candidates ÷ campaign costs

Worked example: say € 5,000 in campaigns delivers placements with a combined € 15,000 in margin. Then the return on recruitment spend is 3.

Why it matters

It links recruitment to margin, the core of the model. You see which budget makes money and which only creates activity.

Where it goes wrong

The margin only comes in months after the campaign. If you look too early, you underestimate channels that deliver people who stay a long time. So calculate per quarter.

How Dashly calculates it

Dashly calculates it per quarter from Dashly Collect, payroll and accounting, through the supply key from campaign to payslip.
