Why it matters
A no-show is an open shift at the worst possible moment: the client is waiting and there is no time left to replace. It hits your fill rate, your relationship with the client and your revenue.
Where it goes wrong
In the scheduling system a no-show is sometimes recorded as a cancellation or a replacement, and then it disappears from the number. Late cancellations, less than 24 hours before the start, are a separate metric.
How Dashly calculates it
Dashly calculates the no-show rate per day and week from your scheduling system, per client, role and employee. Known levers are asking employees to confirm a shift in advance and having fixed replacements per region.
